Harrods.com set to launch new mobile website and online magazine




Harrods.com set to bolster digital media presence with the launch of a new mobile website and online magazine featuring exclusive content


In a series of moves announced by harrods.com today, the Knightsbridge retailer’s online arm is set to further enhance its digital presence to take full advantage of the upcoming Christmas shopping period, as well as build long-term global presence for the brand.

ONLINE MAGAZINE
In September, harrods.com will unveil its new online magazine. Edited by Nicola Copping, Content Editor at harrods.com, this cutting edge publication will allow readers to instantly access the latest trends and exclusive fashion via exciting mixed media content.

MOBILE SITE
In May, Harrods became the first luxury store to launch a GPS-assisted interactive iPhone app, resulting in an unprecedented number of downloads. Following on from its success, this Autumn will see the launch of harrods.com’s new mobile site, enabling customers to shop the luxury website from smart phones and tablet devices.

DIGITAL SEARCH MARKETING
Award winning digital agency I Spy has been appointed to assist with the development of harrods.com’s search marketing. I Spy will play an integral part in driving the luxury online retailer’s online presence in addition to accelerating sales.
