H&M launches at Selfridges with exclusive collection

H&M launches at Selfridges with exclusive collection guest curated by Misshapes DJ & Model, Leigh Lezark

On 25 August at 9.30am, H&M will launch its first ever shop-in-shop worldwide in Women's Street Fashion on the ground floor of Selfridges in London. H&M at Selfridges will feature an edited selection of the very latest key fashion collections and accessories for women, including an exclusive selection curated for the launch of Misshapes DJ and model, Leigh Lezark. Leigh will also be there to introduce her selection at the opening and The Misshapes will do a DJ set in store that evening.

"I love shopping at H&M and I always make sure to visit Selfridges when I am in London," says Misshapes DJ and model, Leigh Lezark. "I've worked with H&M on many occasions and when they approached me to curate a collection especially for their new, first ever shop-in-shop, I was delighted. My philosophy on both beauty and fashion is to be yourself and find your own style, so for me the new edited down H&M at Selfridges is an ideal shopping destination. Given my hectic schedule, I can always find something there that works! The curated pieces are, I feel, modern classics everyone should have in their wardrobe - and I have tried to throw in some colour too!"

The H&M shop-in-shop at Selfridges will feature the best of H&M, with hand picked pieces selected by regular guest curators, limited and exclusive collections, all displayed in a bespoke, especially designed interior. The H&M Conscious Collection for autumn will also be available exclusively in store at H&M, Selfridges in autumn, in addition to on www.hm.com.

The Autumn Conscious Collection is inspired by the romance of Swedish folklore, and proves that sustainability and style are second nature at H&M. Each piece in the collection is made with more sustainable materials, from organic cotton or linen to recycled wool and organic hemp. The silhouette is feminine and the pieces are luxuriously decorated, from embroidered wool coats to the prettiest lace blouse, as well as floral printed dresses and shoes. There are also some exclusive homeware pieces made from more sustainable materials, such as a printed throw and cushions.
