Winners of the GQ Men of the Year Awards announced
The luxury house this year presents the second annual Alfred Dunhill Cultural Icon Award, which is being awarded to artistic director of the Theatre Royal Haymarket Sir Trevor Nunn. Alfred Dunhill dedicated himself to creating the very finest men's luxury goods, providing discerning gentlemen with "essential luxuries" that were as elegant and functional as they were creative and innovative. It was this commitment, along with a true appreciation for culture, travel and craftsmanship that secured dunhill's status as the definitive men's luxury brand.
2011 also sees the creation of a special Men Of The Year Award in honour of the British Armed Forces, in association with Help For Heroes. Sir David Richards, chief of the defence staff general said: “I am delighted that GQ is honouring our servicemen. The magazine is read by many servicemen, and I know that winning this award will bring cheer to them wherever they are serving across the globe and at home.”
Log on to GQ.com who will be first with exclusive Men of the Year winners’ interviews on the night, as well as all the red carpet footage and gossip from behind the scenes.
