Simone Rocha set to launch first capsule collection for Topshop

After the success of stocking Simone Rocha's one-off designs from her Central St Martin's graduate show at Topshop, the designer makes an anticipated return this September with her first capsule collection in her signature style of tailored pieces with a modern spin.

Rocha plays with contrast in the collection made up of six strong, modern yet romantic pieces. Sharp masculine tailoring in black and white is given feminine twists and made youthful by the mixing of unexpected fabrics and flashes of colour. A simple straight-cut white poplin shirt has bright pink mesh sleeves whilst a classic boyish crombie coat in black heavy felt wool is softened by black mesh sleeves. The limited edition double breasted donkey coat has a fresh appeal with chunky cable knit contrasting sleeves.

Simone says; "I am excited to be collaborating with Topshop again. The opportunity to create something accessible for all girls with my signature is one I cannot pass up."

Irish-born Rocha graduated with a BA in fashion from the National College of Art and Design in Dublin in 2008. After receiving press recognition for her MA graduate show from Central St Martins two years later, she then debuted at London Fashion Week, showing her SS11 and AW11 collections on schedule with Fashion East.
