Celebrated British designer Simeon Farrar, and British rainwear specialist and Royal Warrant holder Fulton Umbrellas, have pooled their talents and created an excitingly themed umbrella to coincide with Simeon Farrar's SS12 collection to be exhibited at London Fashion Week.
Playfully illustrating the popular expression 'It's Raining Cats and Dogs', the collaboration sees Simeon Farrar's signature design style applied to cats and dogs, 'raining' down the fabric of Fulton‟s traditional, walking style umbrella.
Simeon Farrar is a London based designer who trained initially in Fine Art, having been a painter for the last 10 years. In February 2004 he launched his label of men‟s and women‟s ready to wear. He has previously won the New Gen Award at London Fashion Week on three occasions, and stocks clothing and accessories worldwide notably including: Liberty and NET-A-PORTER in the UK.
Simeon Farrar's collections stem from his fine art training and passion for silk screen printing. The inspiration for SS12 is the ‘Great British Summertime in all its pathetic glory’ with the unreliable British weather and 'raining cats and dogs' being a logical exploration within this concept. The London Fashion Week exhibition will see Simeon create an installation space displaying both his collection and the limited edition umbrella. Simeon is thrilled to be able to bring the print to life‟ on Fulton‟s quality umbrellas.

The 'Simeon Farrar for Fulton' umbrella collection is a welcome addition to Fulton's extensive 'Designers by' Fulton range which includes Cath Kidston, Ella Doran, Lulu Guinness, Orla Kiely and William Morris.
Fulton's latest collaboration, along with Farrar's SS12 collection can be seen at Simeon Farrar's London Fashion Week exhibition stand, located in the Embankment Galleries at Somerset House.
