Republic announces new interactive concept store opening at Westfield Stratford City
Republic, the leading British multi-branded men’s and women’s fashion retailer, will open its new concept flagship London store on 13th September 2011 at Westfield Stratford City, making it the 117th store in this dynamic young retailer’s ever growing store portfolio.
The new concept store will split men’s and women’s over two floors and is a move on from Republic’s signature ‘utilitarian meets kitsch’ style, unveiling a strong brand identity that brings to life their iconic mango carrier bag. The new store reveals an innovative system of interchangeable backdrops that presents the hottest fashion brands and dedicated destinations for denim, accessories and footwear. Two large feature windows will showcase Republic’s key trend stories in one and present brands of the moment in the second, clearly communicating the breadth of offer to the customer.
Republic will embrace some of the latest in fashion retail technology with an interactive mirror linking to facebook in the fitting rooms, the first of its kind in the UK, and iPad stations affixed to columns around the shop floor. The iPad stations allow customers to browse extended product ranges making Republic’s collections even more accessible by offering their latest latest multi-channel initiative, Click and Collect. Pending the iPads success there are plans to roll out to stores across the estate.
To celebrate the launch of the store Republic have planned a week of activity for consumers on launch day and throughout the week that will take place between Tuesday 13th September and Sunday 18th September. A finalised schedule will be released prior to the opening.
Republic will showcase the best fashion brands on the high street including own labels - Soul Cal, Miso, Crafted and Fabric of Life, and third party brands G-Star and Police. Plus the recent launch of new brands to their portfolio - Lipsy, Vila, Vera Moda, Levi’s Curve ID, Jack and Jones.
