Citroen & Gio-Goi create limited edition DS3 racing inspired footwear
Citroen and award-winning fashion brand, Gio-Goi, have come together in a unique collaboration to create a limited edition shoe based on Citroen’s DS3 Racing – a high performance version of the striking supermini that was developed by six-time World Rally Champion winning team, Citroen Racing.
The distinctive high-top shoe, named DS3 Racing Shoe by Gio-Goi, takes design inspiration from the car’s high quality materials and specific visual styling cues, such as the sculpted 18” alloy wheels and sporty orange grille. The shoes are finished in the model’s eye-catching black and orange colour scheme, using a black tumbled full grain leather with a waxy finish, giving the shoe with a luxurious, soft feel. The soft leather lining, foam padded tongue and flexible rubberised sole add to the comfort of the shoe, ensuring that it flexes perfectly with the movement of the foot while driving.
The combination of black leather and black mesh on the collar was borrowed from the car’s leather seats, while the pattern on the sole is a re-interpretation of the curves in the alloy wheels and the grid pattern on the front of the car. Gio-Goi branded lace-tips in a choice of two distinct colours adds the finishing touch to these stand-out high-tops.
The DS3 Racing Shoe by Gio-Goi shoe is a strictly limited edition line of footwear with just 100 pairs being produced, some of which will be available to purchase. With a recommended retail price of £120.00, the shoes will be sold on Gio-Goi’s website www.gio-goi.com/ds3racing and at a pop-up store in East London.

New ethical t-shirt brand, Goodfibres has launched
New t-shirt brand champions the artists behind the designs and gives proceeds to charity
We’re proud to announce a new contender in the fashion stakes: Goodfibres. Selling stylish, original t-shirts designed exclusively by artists across the world, Goodfibres is a totally different approach to fashion.
With over 45 designs, there’s a t-shirt out there to suit everyone. Made from 100% cotton, all the materials are ethically sourced, and are eco-sensitive. Goodfibres t-shirts are edgy, unique, and are sure to add something a little bit different to your outfit.
Choose a fitted t-shirt for a stylish daytime look, or if you’re having a casual day, try the more relaxed ‘boyfriend’ fit t-shirt. If you’re chilling out at home or want something super comfy to wear in bed, why not try a ‘bedtime’ t-shirt? The cotton will still allow your skin to breathe at night-time whilst keeping you warm on cooler winter nights.
The designs on every shirt are curated and created by artists, so by wearing a Goodfibres t-shirt you’re actually wearing a piece of their artwork. Goodfibres is all about championing the artist, so in addition to placing the artists’ name on each creation, every designer keeps the rights to their artwork, and also receives 10% of the proceeds on each sale.
Finally, Goodfibres wants to put something back into the community, so for every t-shirt sold, Goodfibres will match the purchase by donating to a community in need.
